Are You Ready for a Bubble Bump Invasion

It is already summer for most of us. Just Imagine waking up naturally without alarms and maybe being all too excited that you get to eat breakfast in a natural phase, no hurry, you get to enjoy coffee or milk—whichever you prefer, actually—and then you just get to spend the day doing whatever it is you would like to do. You can go out for a stroll or maybe you can go out to just take a swim.

Time for Bonding

However, if there is one thing we all get too excited about, that would be us having time to bind with our other cousins or friends. Or even if you're already an adult and you got some time off, it is a perfect way for you to plan a mini party or a reunion as hen kids really do not have anything to do anymore. But if you could actually think of any game you could enjoy as a family, what would it be?

The list could go on. We always want something easy to prepare but are fun to do. But how about after the partying and all that, you actually take your family to a park and allow the bubble bump invasion to get you?

What Is This?

Before you think that this is a bad thing, this is actually a game that has been starting to be on trend in the country. If you're a football or soccer fan, or maybe you have just watched a couple of games, then the concept of a bubble bump game in Singapore would no longer be new to you

Technically, it is a game that involves at least two teams, a ball, and goals. What you do is like football: you pass the ball to each other then try to hit the goal. But what makes this different is that your players would need to wear colourful bubble wraps. Hence, its name. But why have the word bump in it? Because what players do is they sometimes try to knock off opponents by bumping into them. Sometimes, it is not necessary, just accidentally and because everyone is wearing a plastic wrap, it is deemed safer and fun as well. This can even be played by children. As such, bubble soccer in SG is already becoming everyone’s game of choice.

How Do We Play It?

If you're already interested in trying this, there are actually play parks or centres that already offer this. However, if you want this to be low-key and private, then you can all turn yourselves to be a do-it-yourself soccer organiser.

You can check online for bubble wraps on sale or look at any videos online on how you can make your own versions. Just be sure that you would be able to follow the instructions carefully so that everybody in the game would be safe.

Now, should you already be playing it, you can follow the usual soccer rules or you can come up of your own.
